My condolences. to an always friendly host who operated a much needed venue for good music.

There are still a few of us around who started going to Tiffany Tavern when it opened 30 years ago [March 10 will be the anniversary]. Ted became part of the background of our lives; always present, constant, unchanging. His bar was and remains a great place to drink and talk, and it was like that because that is the way he wanted it to be. He was the hardest working man I knew, and I knew that when I walked into the Tiffany Tavern, he would be standing at the end of the bar. He is still there.

Our thoughts and prayers go to Teds family. We are very sorry to hear of Teds passing. It was at Tiffanys that we met and had ou rwedding rehersal dinner over 26 years ago. Ted always welcomed us back as part of Tiffany family whenever we returned to Alexandria for a visit. Ted was a very warm and caring person who holds a special place in our hearts.

Dear Nancy, John, Michael and Margot:

Please accept my deepest sympathy in the loss of Ted. Ted and Nancy you were both very kind to my Family and I during a similarly difficult time. Beyond this, you always provided a place of peace and joy and healing of the soul. I can't begin tell you what a Gift you and Ted have been to me over the years. You and all You Love, are in my thoughts and Prayers. May God Bless you all, and Comfort you as you have comforted others. - John -

Whenever I went to the Tiffany Tavern, Ted always welcomed me in a way that made me feel like I was at his house for drinks or for dinner. Those of us who played music there in the front window were made me feel like members of his family Thanks, Ted. So long.
