My deepest sympathy to Steve's family. I worked with Steve at FCDIT for a few years and after that we often crossed paths professionally. Steve was always at the top of his game professionally, but what I remember most was his love and devotion to his children. I will miss him.

I am so sorry for your loss. I met Steve many years ago when I started to work CSOSS at the Amphibious base in Little Creek. Whenever he was here in the Greenbrier office, we would get together for a few minutes to catch up on things. I will always remember Steve as the guy who always had a funny joke or story to tell. No matter how down you might be, he always said the right thing to get you in a good mood. He will be missed by all of us. Katrina, he was so proud of you and was the doting grandfather last time we saw each other. If there is anything I can do to help you through this please email your phone number to me. I will say a prayer for God to give you the strength to get through this time.

My deepest sympathies go out to the entire family. I was deeply saddened to learn of Steve's untimely death. Steve was a true friend to me for many years. We were co-workers in the CSOSS program and remained friends after he moved up to the Washington Navy Yard office. We got together every time he was in town on business and we got together when we were in the same city on different business trips. I will truly miss him. Katrina, I hope that you have fond memories of dinners with your Dad at the Brass Bell where he and I met for drinks and business talks. That is where I met you when you were just a little girl. Now you are a veteran and a mother. Steve was always very proud of you and your accomplishments. He was also so very proud of his grandson that you and John brought into this world for him to enjoy. Please let me know if I can do anything to help in this time of great sorrow even if it is just a hug to comfort you.
